Fried Lab | UCLA Neurosurgery | Hybrid, Los Angeles | Data manager/programmer | Full-time $80-100k dependent on experience We seek a full-time data manager/programmer to organize, backup, and store historical and current data as well as update/build systems to facilitate analysis by internal and external researchers for scientific publication. The employee will learn the current lab storage system and using their experience with database and server management will modernize how the lab stores, organizes, and retrieves electrophysiological data collected by the lab and its collaborators at internal and external sites. Other tasks include programming for software and hardware control of memory games (tasks) to facilitate future data collection. The position will include opportunities for cutting-edge scientific work and authorship. We particularly want to recruit someone interested in neuroscience that is motivated to contribute to unlocking the mysteries of human memory!
