Sure | Engineering Manager | 100% remote | Full-time Sure is an Insurtech start-up in Santa Monica (100% remote) that powers digital insurance programs for the world’s most recognized brands and carriers (Mastercard, Farmers, Intuit, Toyota are just a few examples). Our technology streamlines all aspects of digital insurance sales and service with features designed for each phase of the insurance lifecycle. As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible as a hands on lead to support a distributed team of frontend and backend engineers. This position would start off more hands on working on our Backend Platforms with Python/Django and then transition into a more traditional management role all while building your team. - Opportunity to work alongside external clients or internal stakeholders. - You will also be responsible for the implementation, design, development, and technical quality of the product. - Gain a full understanding of building systems with high availability that grow at scale for our SaaS platform. - Experience in Python & Django This position would be 100% remote, offer competitive salary, unlimited PTO, benefits and great growth opportunities.
