We build the blueprint for high-performance health benefits plans, using a practical approach based on what successful purchasers do. Health Rosetta was fully distributed before the pandemic, so we have a strong remote working culture. We are looking for a software engineer to join us to help build the foundation of our data platform. The new team member will work with our small, motivated team as the primary engineer focused on data. This is in many ways a "blank page" job that will involve building much of the platform from scratch. This is a hands-on coding position. The existing platform is Ruby on Rails on AWS, with some existing data component Lambdas in Java/Spring. We are looking to hire someone with ideas for extending our platform to accommodate the growth in demand. The base salary is $100-$120k, with a 20% bonus opportunity. This is a remote role that will involve access to sensitive data, so applicants must legally be able to permanently remain in the United States.
