Rivian | Self Driving | Remote Rivian’s Self-Driving Cloud Team is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of cloud digital experiences across web and mobile apps. To that end, we are developing a world-class cloud services platform that will support implementing fully autonomous self-driving for Rivian vehicles. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who will be developing large-scale applications using the latest cloud services technologies, AWS resources, and UI frameworks. You’ll be building from the ground up with an obsession towards helping the Self-Driving team go as fast as possible and manage petabytes of sensor data. Key Qualifications: - Relevant industry experience, with 3+ years of building large-scale enterprise-grade cloud solutions. - Experience building distributed systems at scale that can handle millions of transactions/second. - Build microservices with Python, Go or Java. We use Go and Python. Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design. Communicate design ideas and document them. - Proficient in NodeJS, Javascript/Typescript, and UI frameworks (Preferably React JS). - Good understanding of Kubernetes, AWS technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and GraphQL/RESTful APIS.
