Fastmail (https://www.fastmail.com ) | System Engineer | Philadelphia, PA | HYBRID | Full-Time At Fastmail, we’re bringing the human touch back to email. We have three email services, Fastmail email, Topicbox email lists, and Pobox emailing forwarding. We’re looking for a System Engineer to keep those services responsive, functional, reliable, and secure. You’ll spend your time hands-on maintaining, improving, and building out the infrastructure that runs our services. For the record, though, our systems are mostly Debian, all self-hosted. You’ll definitely end up working in Bash (and probably a little bit of Perl). (If you’re curious: we also use Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, MySQL, Nginx, Postfix, Consul, Apache, Cyrus, and of course many other things.)
