Donorschoose | Senior Software Engineer (Java) | REMOTE | Full-Time This school year we will deliver $130M+ in school supplies to classrooms across the country! Public schools aren’t created equal. We want to help. We are a tech-forward nonprofit, who pioneered crowd-funding before Kickstarter or GoFundMe existed. Public school teachers come to our site and order specific materials (e.g. microscopes, books, crayons), citizen donors and large funders come and fund those projects and then we order and ship them. The Engineering team is responsible for building the funding products for our teachers and donors, and also the operational tools that allow our team to ship all those supplies. Our team is 12 engineers strong - we’re small but mighty. We believe in low ceremony, common sense processes and once engineers are hired here, they rarely want to leave.
