Over 20% of Single Family Homes purchased this year were purchased as rentals. There is no dominant real estate technology nor is there a brokerage that supports individuals through the real estate investing process. Awning is a service that makes it much easier for individuals to invest in rental properties and gives individuals a level playing field with institutional investors like BlackRock and Goldman who are entering the space and making it harder for individuals to compete with the speed at which these players move in the market. We've raised $9.3M from top investors and are growing quickly. We're hiring a Sr. / Staff Backend engineer to help us solve real estate data problems and to help us build features for our customers and agents to use. Some of the fun problems you can work on at Awning include search, dynamic calculations of returns on real estate investments, and mangling complex real estate data.
