We use computer vision and computer graphics techniques to build interactive tools for content creation. We believe that deep learning will spark a revolution in creative expression, and Runway can be a market-defining company in this space. Our team is a mix of engineers, researchers, and artists tackling hard problems in the intersection of ML and creativity. Runway has an active and growing community of artists and creators all over the world. It has also become an essential tool in universities and schools globally to teach art students about artificial intelligence. We're looking for: * A Research Scientist to help us develop ML models for video and image synthesis. Beyond the next best model that achieves state-of-the-art performance on a benchmark, we want to design models which incorporate human guidance and are optimized for real-time inference. * A Backend Engineer to help us develop the server-side engine that powers our interactive tools. You'll be working closely with our research and frontend teams to design performant APIs for low latency ML inference and media transcoding.
