Modern Advisor | Multiple Roles: Software Engineers Back End, Front End, Full Stack | Vancouver Canada or Remote (within Canada) | Full-time/Contract | https://www.modernadvisor.ca/ Modern Advisor is a leading Canadian digital advisor platform based in Vancouver, Canada. ModernAdvisor is part of Guardian Capital Group. Our current tech stack is Ruby on Rails with an AngularJS front end and MySQL DB. Everything is hosted and run on AWS. We currently have a team of 5 developers and are expanding to take on new projects. Our immediate need is for 2 backend developers to work on an API integration project. We also have a need for more UI focused developers in the coming months. Generally all of our developers work on both front end and back end. However if you have a particular interest in UI/UX that could be beneficial. Experience in Ruby on Rails/AngularJS/Javascript are helpful but not required as long as you are willing to learn. Remote will be considered if you are within a few hours of the Vancouver timezone (+/- 3 hours).
