Chums.co | Senior Full Stack or Front End Engineer, First Designer | NYC or REMOTE | Full time Hey HN, we're Noah and Dick. We founded Chums (www.chums.co) to help you recommend products to your friends and have more fun shopping online. A lot of people ask their friends for advice when they're shopping. We think this can be more fun and we think your friends can help you find the right product, especially during COVID when we're stuck at home. Noah launched Chums as a solo-founder before meeting Dick in 2020. Dick was an early employee at Honey and has spent a lot of time chewing on e-commerce and ways to make shopping more social. When you buy something on Chums we give you money to give to your friends that helped you make a purchase. You get to chose where the money goes. You can buy most products from most merchants through our platform. We're excited to build out groups or other interest-based communities, as well as browser extension in 2021. Our team is small right now (CEO, 2 engineers, and product manager). We're looking for another engineer to help us build out our web presence and chrome extension. We're also looking for a full time designer who loves designing products from the ground up.
