Libang Surgical Technologies | Software Lead | Vancouver, BC | Onsite | Full Time Vancouver based medical device company just entering our 2nd year. Join a great and growing team building robotics for image guided therapy. We are remote-ish for Covid-19 reasons but longer term looking for a local software lead. You will have lots of direct interaction with hardware and hardware teams, as well as taking a lead in defining and implementing production software and practices. We are ideally looking for someone who has shipped multiple systems in the medical device industry (e.g., FDA compliant) with hardware/software components. Anyone with significant production experience in similar areas will definitely be considered. Our software ranges from control systems through image processing to hospital IT infrastructure and user interfaces. We would love to talk to people who are systems thinkers who would enjoy contributing across various layers and are excited by the prospect of responsibility for one or more subsystems.
