The container shipping industry is the back-bone and enabler of global trade, but at its core the industry is fundamentally inefficient: 50% of all container vessels globally are delayed coming into port by more than 12 hours, 4.2% of a ships sailing time is waiting outside of the port, and key planning processes are done manually on a global scale. This leads to high operational costs, lost revenue, and unnecessarily high greenhouse gas emissions Portchain is a 4 year old Danish SaaS container shipping startup that help container carriers and terminals reduce operational complexity and optimize planning through A.I. decision support. We are an international team of 26 people from 12 countries (half of which are remote) and serve a global customer base of some the largest companies in the industry. We're looking for a DevOps Engineer (>=50% coding) with 5 years minimum of professional experience in deploying SaaS applications.
