Brace | ONSITE, REMOTE, FULL TIME | java | react | javascript | typescript Brace is the first platform aimed at bringing the broader, end-to-end mortgage servicing suite into the 21st Century. Starting with loss mitigation, we’re building software to systematically replace the outmoded, largely paper-based, and legacy systems status quo. The company is building the digital solutions and infrastructure that powers a $15 trillion dollar asset class that impacts tens of millions of Americans. Joining our engineering team gives you access to work with the latest technologies and languages. We are primarily building web applications with a modern Java backend and a React frontend, but we also use other fun technologies like Elixir, Rust, Terraform, and PostgreSQL. Lead BE: https://brace.ai/careers/?gh_jid=4061648003 * 1-3 years of managing small teams (~1-4) of engineers of all different experience levels * 5+ years of professional engineering experience * Proficiency in both object-oriented and functional paradigms * Proficiency in Java 8+, including futures/concurrency * Comfortable with Javascript, TypeScript and React * Experience designing and building RESTful APIs Mid FE: https://brace.ai/careers/?gh_jid=4061507003 * 3+ years of professional programming experience * Proficiency in working with React (we’re on the latest version) * Self-driven and comfortable working with a small team * Javascript (ES2019+), Typescript, CSS-in-JS, Client-side SPAs We've hired two people from "Who is hiring?" posts on HN!
