Syntacog | Remote - United Kingdom only | Full-time | Software engineers/developers Ever thought that it's crazy how much it costs to talk to a lawyer? Or that the law seems like it was designed to be confusing? Syntacog is an exciting new startup looking for developers to form the core of our technical team. Our mission is to make the law easier to understand for non-lawyers. Our first product is a health and safety app for small business. It transforms compliance from a confusing and time-consuming task into a simple guided quiz, powered by a complex knowledge base. We use NLP and AI to extract legal information from regulations, government guidance and best practice. The core of our product is based on Elixir and Phoenix, and we make heavy use of graph databases and related technologies. This is a UK-based remote team (including post-covid).
