National Center for Atmospheric Research | Electrical Engineer | Boulder, CO | On Site + Visa | Full Time At NCAR we study weather, water, climate, air quality, and space weather to help protect lives and livelihoods, grow the economy, and enhance our nation’s security and well-being. The In-Situ Sensing Facility (ISF) provides measurements made directly in the environment as well as profiling measurements of the lower atmosphere. Measurements are made in-situ at the earth's surface, on towers, on balloons, and on packages dropped from aircraft. We’re looking for an electrical engineer to develop and test existing and new in-situ atmospheric instrumentation. The position is also responsible for operating and supporting scientific instrumentation in the field, and leading field programs when appropriate.
