Podaris
Interface designers who can also code
Original posting
Podaris | Full or Part-time | REMOTE | London, UK
Podaris (https://www.podaris.com/) is re-inventing how the world plans its cities. We're developing a platform for urban infrastructure planning, with a focus on agile, real-time collaboration, combining elements of BIM and GIS. We've been in tiny-startup mode for several years, but have built a serious and acquired a small but loyal customer base. Now we have an opportunity to scale rapidly. We're looking for:
- Full-stack developers with experience building complex single-page applications.
- Developers with experience in GIS, BIM, Parametric modelling, applied graph theory, transport microsimulation, or API design.
- Interface designers who can also code
- Documentation / technical writers who are familiar with urban planning, transport planning, architecture, civil engineering, or related industries (INTERN opportunity)
- People with a passion for making better cities around the world.
Our tech stack includes: OpenStreetMap, OpenLayers, Meteor, Node, Go, Kubernetes, Docker.
We're based at the Urban Innovation Centre in London, UK, but are open to remote workers from anywhere in the world, provided we can establish a collaborative rapport. Equity is also available for extraordinarily talented individuals. Currently we can only offer contract work, but we expect further financing to soon allow us to hire full-time as well.
