Hail team is a small (5 person) software team building software to analyze and query large-scale (10s of TB and doubling yearly) genetic datasets. Our current technology stack includes: Scala, the JVM, AWS, GCP, Hadoop, Spark, and C. Our domain knowledge includes machine learning, bioinformatics, statistical genetics, compilers, and theoretical math.
