Cisco | Paris, France | Full-time | Cloud Infrastructure Tech Lead | Full Time | https://www.cisco.com/careers As a Cloud Infrastructure Technical Leader, you are responsible for developing, scaling and maintaining our cloud software infrastructure, covering a wide range of technologies, from on-premise bare metal hardware infrastructure (computing, networking and storage) to our cloud-based platform, with a specific focus on high availability, scalability and data-intensive technologies. This key position also consists in establishing and driving our continuous delivery and quality assurance processes. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment that requires a unique blend of innovation, risk taking and speed of execution. The role is for highly technical DevOps engineers who combine outstanding oral and written communication skills, a deep expertise in large-scale and data-intensive cloud-based systems and, most importantly, an ability to autonomously plan and organize their work assignments based on high-level team goals. Our technology stack includes Python, Scala, C++ as well as a wide range of internal tools built on top of Docker, Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, InfluxDB and a variety of front-end visualization technologies (D3.js, WebGL, HTML5). Desired qualifications * Degree in Computer Science * 5-10 years of industrial experience with large-scale and data-intensive systems * Experience in building, maintaining and troubleshooting private and public cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, AWS, Google Cloud Engine, Microsoft Azure) * Experience with automation and configuration management software (e.g., Ansible) * Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, HDFS, Kafka, Cassandra) and micro-service architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.) * Hands-on experience with large data warehouses (100+ TB) * Excellent coding and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) * Experience with software development methodologies and tools (e.g., git, Gitlab) * Excellent English spoken and written skills (C2 level) is a must.
