I'm a developer on the messaging team in San Francisco, and we're looking for more software engineers to join us in building high volume, fault tolerant distributed systems. We send many, many millions of messages every day and we're expanding our reach through channels like Facebook, Viber, and others. We build services on top of AWS using Scala, with libraries like Akka and Cats. Scala experience is not at all required. Other technologies we use include Kafka, Spark, Cassandra and MySQL.
