Neverware (neverware.com) | New York, New York | On Site Full Time Software Engineer We maintain a linux distro (fork of ChromiumOS) that, unlike vanilla Chromium, will run on hundreds instead of tens of machines. We then sell that fork (bundled with support) to schools to help them get their aging computers working again. We also offer a free version here: http://www.neverware.com/freedownload Most of the work we do is systems level python/c++ linux work, but we're currently looking for somebody to come in and own all of our web projects. It'll probably be a 70/30 split between web and non-web development. Our interview process involves a 30 minute phone call, either an on site whiteboard style interview or a take home project (your choice), followed by an on site cultural interview.
