We've built our third generation prototype and have made lots of progress on the camera hardware. Our current technical challenge is implementing a parallax-tolerant depth-aware stitching algorithm in C/C+. Ultimately, we need to achieve real-time stereoscopic 3D video stitching onboard the camera itself implemented in an FPGA/ASIC.
