Pinnacle Entertainment Group, Las Vegas, NV. A young, growing, high-energy casino group (whose most recent analytics hire came from HN and is fantastic!) seeks a quantitative and critical thinker to join as an analyst. You will work with customer data to help make strategic business decisions/recommendations related both to our casino floors and to our marketing program (largely, but not exclusively, direct mail). Your work will have a direct impact on our bottom line. Think: "Moneyball" meets marketing. If you get excited by data, prediction, inference, and Las Vegas, this is probably a good fit for you. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years data experience (new or upcoming grads also welcome to apply!), a quantitative degree (math/cs/hard science/econ) and exposure to SQL (or relational databases in general). But whatever your background, if you can demonstrate that you're a smart and quick-thinking data geek, I'd love to chat with you.
