Deya | Software Engineer (AI x Healthcare) | NYC (Hybrid) | Full-Time Most AI in healthcare is being built in the wrong place. Everyone is chasing scribes and diagnostics. Almost no one is building the longitudinal data layer, the system that captures what actually happens to patients over time. That’s the real moat. We’re building it for eye care. Deya is an AI platform that sits between doctor and patient, capturing symptoms, treatments, outcomes, and ocular images over time to enable continuous care. We’re already piloting with eye doctors and collecting real patient data, including the largest dataset of eye images captured on smartphones. What you’ll do: - Build core product + infrastructure from 0→1 - Work across full stack, AI systems (LLMs + vision), and data pipelines - Help define the architecture of a longitudinal healthcare data layer Who you are: - Full-stack engineer (backend / full stack; AI experience a plus) - Wants ownership and to build from first principles - Interested in healthcare, data, and real-world impact Why this is interesting: - Greenfield system with real-world data + distribution - Direct access to clinical workflows and outcomes - Small, high-ownership team NYC-based, Hybrid.
