Palo Alto, CA - Full-stack Web Developer - LOCAL or REMOTE (full-time preferred) We're one of the thousands of startups doing social networking. Our focus is on groups and events. We've built a real-time stack of our own that bridges backbone.js <-> socket.io <-> gunicorn+gevent <-> django. The web application is nearly all single-page architecture, with both web and mobile making use of an API. We use coffeescript pretty much everywhere. * backend: python, django, gevent, gunicorn, nginx, postgres * frontend: coffeescript, jQuery, backbone.js, socket.io, compass We're looking for an advanced full-stack web developer. You know a lot about several or all of the above. Backend/frontend/query optimization/deployment. We'll be growing our user base very soon -- we've amassed a small army of interns at most colleges around our initial metro launch area and need knowledge/experience optimizing and scaling the above technologies.
